Pete will like this: a T3 from Gifhorn's fire fighting equipment HQ \:)/

This T2b needs medical aid ;)

Nice number plate; it refers to Backnang's former area letters 'BK' before the district reform in 1975 and the radio call sign /\:)

Nice set of pics there Roland. Is the t2b an ambulance that has been decommissioned? Also an interesting bit of info on call signs...makes me wonder if Vickys was 80 49 then as she was OS-8049 i think.

I do indeed like like the T3, it also bears the Gifhorn coat of arms - which mine doesn't!!! :(/

The T2b is of Austrian origin, don't think it was an ambulance. But it looks like, what attracted me. Also the vitality of the pic.

Call signs don't necessarily appear on the number plate. It's rather a personalised one, obviously a common DLRG gag in our area. :) ()

Don't worry, Vicky's '18 - 64' is correct; in Lower Saxony '18' is a regional lettering and '64' stands for ELW = Einsatzleitwagen = operation leading vehicle. OS-8049 was a government plate, '8' stands for KatS, the rest is just a number, possibly the 49th KatS vehicle in the Osnabrück area.
