No, the KatS one has no auxiliary side drum and is totally different from this heavy-duty army one anyway.

1st one: no!
2nd one: correct Bakelite plugs indeed. Cable length has to be 50 metres at any rate.

It's not either if them is it Roland, I forgot about this picture (again!) and i was only looking at it on the generator thread the other day!! This is a good reference picture for the mains cable spool too so it fits in here quite well...and will remind me next time i come looking!
