Nice accessories there mikey, does the PA work or is it like mine in that it needs the radio to make it work? Those phone handsets are great aren't they?!

John, the photo of the Hella part attached to the dashboard is what I am actually looking for. In another post, you kindly found a Hella RTK 4 control panel, which was not correct for me.
I do however need to thank Mikey, as I have been waiting for a close up of one of these for a very long time.
John, on a further note and leading on from my suggestion for a parts dictionary; it may be worthwhile in the long term having photos of different areas of the vans whereby the individual components can then be hovered over and identified for those future members.

Hi Guys
Ahh glad the picture is useful. I have a German booklet describing the buttons of two radio sets/Sprechfunks: FuG 7b, and FuG 8b. Presumbly the van had one of these? I will scan it up. German friend is going to help with some translation of the various bits and pieces, a lot of emission test certificates. But it looks like there might be a set of general instructions on use of the vehicle, speed guidelines, etc, that would make interesting reading.
John - yr right nothing happens with the phone handset and PA as yet. I was thinking of sticking a CB radio with PA function in to the vacant radio slot. With a bit of impedance matching/preamp might be able to get the PA going. Thats long-term. Paintwork, mechanicals first!
Cheers
