Stolen vehicle Information can be posted here. This area has been added to help spread the word for VW owners who are unlucky enough to get theirs nicked.
I kept reading the reports on other forums and it made me so sick i thought it about time to help spread the word where we can.

Don't have nightmares!

Keep 'em Peeled!

A good threat! Well worth to start it.

An easy-to-manage anti-theft protection is a hidden switch under the dash (or a non-hidden switch with e.g. a light symbol o n the dash) which interrupts the ignition. The starter motor runs i.e. makes noise and arrests attention, but the engine won't start.

Another solution is a so-called NATO bone, a battery main switch, ideally fitted in the (locked) engine compartment. The bone itself can be removed.
