Butty's Throttle Linkages

Post by Dubmatix » Wed Jul 02, 2014 9:34 pm

Just thought i'd post on here my experiences with the throttle linkage i got from Stanford Hall show this year. As my throttle pedal linkage was playing up i decided it was time to sort it. Then a friend recommended these linkages and they really are beautifully made. Ballraced bellcrank that is a CNC machined aluminium arm with ball link up to your pedal.

The only issue i have found so far is that i have less travel than my original set up so i only get about 50% throttle. This isn't helped by my carpet over the rubber mat in the cab i know but it has reduced the travel. The mech is going to have to come off and i'll compare the dimensions with the original and hopefully it'll just adjust out. The ball link appears to be shorter than the original pushrod as it comes.
