Morning all!

First snow today! /:)

What a difference! Last weekend we had a beautiful Indian summer barbie on the Swabian Limestone Scarpland at a VW Bus mate's home ... :D

You're kidding! We don't often get snow here, but when it comes it comes. I must admit it was very cold today, around 2C but the clouds looked snowy.

In all honesty, we had and still have (most of it melts away right now) snow. Temperatures are similar.

Registered my winter car just in time!

I must say that is amazing! Is that your work Roland?

For a more Halloween themed pumpkin just look at this;

Some people just take it to extremes!

Roland, i was reading about problem Racoons in Germany in the newspaper this week. I didn't realise that you had them...an import from America you do without! Are there any about near you?

Reminds me of Gunther von Hagens' traveling exhibition 'Körperwelten' = 'Body Worlds' ... :-K

The T1 pumpkin ain't my work, never carved one. :(

Racoons are a problem at some places, e.g. in the Kassel area. They even became endemic to mine, see the 'EVW in the broadest sense' thread.

Not to forget: Happy Birthday to Halloween kid Lisa!

I thought i'd bring this thread back as it seems a bit neglected..though it is evening! Bus got a very thorough clean out today. It took a few hours but the new leisure battery is on, digital voltmeter for monitoring charge and oil pressure gauge too.
Earlier in the week i checked and adjusted the valve clearances, tweaked the idle speed down (it had drifted up to 1500rpm!) along with the idle mixture and today i tweaked the timing a smidgin. Also used the Gunsons Colortune (sic) to double check the mixtures on both banks at higher rpms that i set up a couple of years ago. That and the messing with the pedal linkage, replacement of the totally shot steering damper and few underbody wax touch ups, has seen a good number of hours being spent catching up on bus jobs over the last weeks much to the wifes annoyance.

How is everyone else doing?
