VW T3 - Former radio van of the German army medical corps.

Fantastic, almost unique van, very low odometer reading, amazing condition.

History
I am the 2nd owner (the German army being the 1st) and purchased it in December 2007 in Hamburg, Germany when I imported it to the UK and registered it here.
Condition Mechanical
Extremely good condition as would be expected with such a low mileage.
Awarded a MOT (UK certificate) expires July 26th 2012.
Tyres
New.
Exterior Condition
There is no absolutely NO rust whatsoever.
Sadly, the van has a small dent on the nearside rear corner (see picture).
There are a few minor scratches to the paint.
Interior Condition
Seats – both front seats are in very good condition (like new). There are no rips or tears and no signs of wear.
Rubber mat - in cab is very good condition.
Rubber mat in cargo area is like new.
Glass - No scratches.
Headlining - The cargo area has a vinyl covered hardboard ceiling which has a few scuffs and scratches but is generally very good.
The cab area has a perforated vinyl ceiling which is in as new condition.
The original vinyl covered hardboard side panels are present, however they are mildly scuffed and scratched as are the panels behind each of the seats.
Additional equipment

The radio panel behind the driver’s seat is set into the window rubbers so can easily be replaced with glass.
There is a metal table behind the drivers seat for the operator of the radio equipment.

A set of window and headlight covers are present.
A roof rack is present but can be easily removed if required.

A good source is kfz-deutsch.at
Click 'Fahrzeuge'.
Despite his family name this chap is located in Austria and always has a good selection of ex-Austrian army T3s in stock, mainly syncros.
One reason for the Austrian Bundesheer to order so many of them (especially hi-tops) are the Alps and the fact, that the T3 syncros were built in Graz/Austria.
In contrast to that German Bundeswehr syncros are quite rare.
