THW Generator

Looks to be possibly a 1967 and looks similar to some used on Brunn conversions.

That's right, it's very similar to the RÖMERs in the FuKW 78s.

The engine is the same, no wonder, it's the classic omnipresent SACHS 2-stroke. The generator itself is different, EISEMANN (now BOSCH) in case of the THW sample, RÖMER (long gone) in case of the FuKWs.

The FüKW-TELs were supplied with a more modern BOSCH with a BRIGGS & STRATTON engine.

Thanks Roland, thought so, it looks like the one in Mark's FuKW 78. The later ones look more modern altogther. Here's a couple of links to other discussions on the later type.

Don't see many of those for sale anywhwere. I wonder if Bersenbruck have finished with theirs yet, it was still in use with the cadets last time i checked.
