We take our bus out of the hall and back to camp 4ish 5ish then bring it back in the morning. We tend to camp nearby anyway. (:D

Ok my form is also submitted after a cracking long weekend at Shambala (thanks Pete for the recommendation, we all loved it. Will even managed to stay up last night for the big burn....amazing spectacle!).

If anyone else needs to submit but hasn't yet, then you need to crack on with it as you need to get it to Roland before he leaves.

Additional info for comms on site. The EVW channel on PMR 446 (those little radios you can get in tesco/Maplin/Ebay/China) is channel 5 (and if you know how to work it, CTCSS 5 which means you willl only hear EVW comms even if others are using the channel nearby. My mobile is O791O81O523 if you want a point of contact for the group.

If you AREN'T displaying but ARE going to the show then do please stop in to the Hall (note it's not the usual one!) to say hello. It's always good to catch up and have a natter.

John

Hi Steve
It's on the previous page of this thread, there's a post by Roland. If you fill it in and pm it to me and i'll try and get you on the list. Roland won't get it now as he has left for the show. You could try getting to the organisers by email too.

Regards

John

Apologies to anyone that tried to contact me over the Busfest weekend, i was laid up with flu and went back to work today so i managed to miss my first Busfest in years! :( I hope that all that attended enjoyed it and that there was a gathering of sorts! Would anyone want to do a brief report of the weekend with a few pics? 8-)

From what Roland said, it was a smaller display this year, perhaps a fallow year for a big one next year? Think about it now and plan for it, we could do with a big display as we've not had one for a few years. We'll need people signing up early, remember it's free entry for the weekend for polishing your vehicle and leaving it in the hall for two days and there's the cameraderie of other like minded folk. You can't go far wrong with that! 8-)

Yep, it was a rather small display this year, three vehicles on the Sat and four on the Sun. The display was held in the well-known Avon Hall BTW.

Two forum members, Jim and Steve and a chap, whose Bus was on the Sales Area on the Sat

Mark, another forum member, who quasi took part in two displays, the Well Travelled Transporters AND Emergency Vehicles

It was great to meet Jim for the first time and Mark once again!

Despite being a fake this California Highway Patrol T3 spotted on site would have been a nice addition to the display
