Emergency VWs

Happy New Year all...

Just wondering whether anyone has plans to attend Busfest this year? It will be our first time at a show so would be great to meet up with any fellow EWV owners - also looks like in previous years we have been part of the hall display so up for that too if it's happening?

Hi Sonia and welcome to the group. The Busfest arrangements tend to be done later in the year but you have started the thread and so have got people thinking about it. I'm not sure I'll get there with 'Vicky' if people are interested in doing a display then reply to this thread and let's get something sorted! Better to get it organised now rather than later.

If I don't make this year then I'll aim for next year. I should have my beetle completed by then!!

Great stuff - look forwards to hearing whether any others are up for it...we'll definitely be there one way or the other so would be great to meet any fellow forum members either as part of a show or just a general hello!

Reason for thinking about it so early is because I need to book holidays...we live in the far frozen north of Aberdeenshire, and reckon we'll take two days of travel each way...and that's if Brian behaves himself!!

my better half and me will attend Busfest, as every year. No display vehicle tho', we'll bring a Bus we both can sleep in i.e. a rather boring Multivan.

It's a good idea to push people, who are interested in doing a display in time. Would be great considering our previous participations!

If so, I can make arrangements.

But then there's a new show...confusingly called Vanfest...!

The 'new' Vanfest is for ALL makes of vans.
