Hella Klangfolge-Steuergerat wiring diagram

Image

Got a bit of a re-connecting job on this weekend, so i can join in with the Camperjam chorus!!

Found this diagram on the net, along with description of connections in German, so did the old Babelfish translation (mein deutsch nicht so gut ;) ).

31 = Masse ( von der Batterie )
84 = + Spannung ( Einschaltspannung Kennleuchten )
84a = Kennleuchte links
84b = Kontrolleuchte links
84c = Kennleuchte rechts
84d = Kontrolleuchte rechts
71 = + Spannung Batterie
71a = Starktonhorn tief
71b = Starktonhorn hoch
85c = - Spannung ( Einschaltspannung vom Schalter )
86 = Klangfolgeveriegelung, an Masse Verriegelung eingeschaltet

Babelfish English: :lol:

31 = mass (of the battery)
84 = + tension (cut-in voltage knowing lights)
84a = knowing light left
84b = control light left
84c = knowing light right 84d = control light right
71 = + tension battery
71a = low tone horn deeply
71b = low tone horn highly
85c = - tension (cut-in voltage of the switch)
86 = Klangfolgeveriegelung, at mass bolting device switching on

Maybe our resident German speaking expert Roland could do a better job of translating? But maybe not in Southern German as our good friends in the North of Germany say even they cannot understand people in the South! ;) The same in England tha knows! :D

OK, there's need for action ;) . Them translation programmes are always big fun.

I'll need a quiet moment though.

Will try to prevent my Swabian and swap to High German :lol: .

Here we go:

31 = earth (from the battery)
84 = + voltage (switch-on voltage for the beacons)
84a = beacon left
84b = pilot lamp left
84c = beacon right
84d = pilot lamp right
71 = + voltage battery
71a = strong-tone horn low
71b = strong-tone horn high
85c = - voltage (switch-on voltage from the switch)
86 = tonal sequence locking device, locking device switched on via earth connection

In case of a failing beacon the tonal sequence locking device switches off the sirens automatically :geek: .

Thanks for the better translation Roland, we could work most connetions out from the diagram, but it was good to have the Earth (as we call them) connections confirmed. Also had no idea what 86 was!!!

So if it automatically locks out will it automatically re-set when the failing beacon is fixed?

I connected everything up but only had a Nee and no Naw... :cry: so a swap round of the horns told me the wiring and the sound sequencer (relay) was ok. Another half hour stripping the horn and cleaning the connections and.... Nee-Naw Nee-Naw!! :D

Good luck to Germany in the World Cup!!!

You are welcome!

I think, the locking device will re-set automatically. Never gave it a try.

Reason for that module is, that the sirens aren't allowed without an accompanying blue light.

Glad to hear, that you could sort out your tatü-tata (as we call it; slangy lalü-lala) problem!

As for the World Cup I'm convinced, that our boys will make it. My favourites for the final are Holland vs. Germany, a repeat of the '74 set-up (I'm old enough to remember ...).

Hi Roland,

I think both teams played very well and it could have been 1-0 to Germany also.

The way Germany beat England and Argentina was very fast attacking, but Spain had men back to defend, so everytime they attacked... too may red shirts :shock:

I was cheering on Germany so at the end of the match i was :(

But now i can cheer on Holland in the Final, who along with Germany have played some of the best football in this World cup!! :P

Hi Mark,

I agree on all points.

Our Italian errr Sicilian neighbour, who attended our open air viewing at our hobby garage, was the most disappointed; he was cheering on Germany due to the total failure of the Italian team (according to him they were welcome at home with no crowd but 11 coffins!?).

He seems to be psychic as well: he predicted a final 1-0 to 'the better team' around the 70th minute of play ...

I'm thinking of calling him 'Paul' or optionally 'Paolo' :lol: .
