I never knew the Type 181 Kubelwagen had a predecessor, the Country Buggy built by VW Australasia and I wasn't aware there was production outside of Europe and America.

Then there's the Container Van, another unique Australian bus http://www.vwcampervanblog.com/readers- ... ainer-van/

Same here, although by the looks of it very few were produced so these are likely to be very hard to come by.
Would certainly raise some eyebrows at the shows, as I don't think many others are aware of its existence.
How bigs your wishlist now?

Oh it's not outrageous, just a Karmann Ghia convertible, either a T25 syncro crewie or a T4/T5 4-motion panel and a Trekker - which I would now happily pass on for a Country buggy!!!
Now I don't know about you, but I don't think that's unreasonable???

Unreasonble, hmmm, definitely not!
My garage would include, a Schwimmwagen, Kubelwagen, Mk3 Golf & a T2 full panel. I'm now planning an extension to the garage to include one additional parking space for the elusive Country Buggy!
