Re: Last T2 goes to ancestral home
Given how much I warmed to Germany on my first trip, it definately will not be the last. In preparation I am taking time to learn German through an audio CD course at the moment; I'm picking up the words OK, however the sentence structure and word gender can throw me as it can get a little confusing...

Re: Wheel painting
Roland, as ever you are a wealth of knowledge! I think I will attempt your method with the playing cards, genius! Insurance
I've just renewed my policy with Peter James for £139 which includes UK and Euro breakdown (not homestart) and Euro insurance and I can highly recommend them when anyone else renews. This year I have asked for an Agreed Valuation document which is self assessment for vehicles under £15000, otherwise...

Re: Petromax
Your lucky to find some new ones, what a find! Are there any differences in model years?
I wouldn't mind owning this for proper camping, much nicer atmosphere over battery lanterns. What do they run from, petrol, coleman fuel??

Re: Petromax
Ahh, thanks for that! They do look the business; what era were they manufactured? Are you collecting them, or keeping them for use? I've just had a look on eBay and seen a German army one here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Petromax-HK500-German-ARMY-BUNDESWEHR-1960-kerosene-lantern-lamp-RARE-authentic-...
